The old Google My Business app showed your performance data on the home screen when you opened it. Google replaced it with a system buried inside Google Maps that requires multiple navigation steps and provides no notifications. Here is exactly how to find your GBP performance data today — and a simpler alternative that shows everything in one view.
Method 1: Through Google Search (Desktop)
Go to google.com on your desktop browser
Search your exact business name
Example: 'Ampli5 Pulse' or 'Shah Dental Clinic Ahmedabad'
Your business Knowledge Panel appears on the right (or at the top)
Look for the 'Edit profile' or 'View profile' option under your business name
Click 'Promote' or look for the 'Performance' tab
Depending on your Google account, the path varies slightly
Select the date range
Choose last 7 days, last 28 days, or last 3 months
Method 2: Through Google Maps (Mobile)
Open Google Maps on your phone
Tap your account photo in the top right corner
Tap 'Your business profiles'
If you have multiple profiles, select the one you want
Tap the 'Performance' card or button
Scroll down if you do not see it immediately
Use the tabs to navigate between metric types
Searches, views, and actions are often on separate tabs
What Performance Data You Can See
| Metric Available | Where to Find It | Limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Total searches | Performance tab → Searches | No breakdown by keyword in basic view |

| Direction requests | Performance tab → Directions | Only counts from GBP listing |
| Website clicks | Performance tab → Website | Only counts from GBP listing |
| Photo views | Photos section | No per-photo breakdown in mobile view |
| Review data | Reviews section | Number and rating — no trend data natively |
| Keyword rank data | Not available | Requires a rank tracking tool |
A Simpler Way: All Your Performance Data in One Dashboard
Ampli5 Pulse connects to your Google Business Profile via secure OAuth and pulls all performance data into a unified dashboard — updated daily. When you open the app, you see: your current rank position (with trend arrow), profile views and call data for the current month vs last month, recent reviews (with AI response drafts ready), and your profile health score. Everything the old GMB app showed on its home screen, plus the data it never had.
